Since 1961 till now Zh. Dozortseva has been working in Moscow State Academic Philarmony. She is the Honoured Art Worker of Russia, Azerbaijan, Kirgistan, Moscow prize laureate. Ms Dozortseva was decorated with Order of People's Friendship. She is one of the leading musicologists in Russia. She performs in all the central halls of Moscow, often goes on tours in Russia and abroad. Her performances are distinguished by great intellect, eloquence and artistic charm. Zh. Dozortseva is involved in public activities. She is vice-President of the International Academy of Creative Work, mem­ber of Composers' Union of Russia, President of Russia' association of lecturers and art critics and vice-President of the International society of musicians. Zh. Dozortseva is carrying out great educational activities among young people. Music lovers remem­ber her TV programmes «Music for the youth», «From the halls of Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts», «Eternal images of art». At present Zhanna Dozortseva is performing in a series of concerts held in The Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the Concert Hall «Rossia». She is the inspirer and artistic director of All-Russia Glinka festival (Smolensk), Tchaikovsky festival (Votkinsk-Izhevsk). Zh. Dozortseva performs in the festival «Velvet season» (Sochi-Adler), takes part in «Slavonic Bazaar» (Vitebsk). The unique lectures-concerts, which are the integral part of the cultural life of Moscow, have result­ed from the collaboration of Zhanna Dozortseva with Veronica Dudarova and Symphony Orchestra of Russia. Zhanna Dozortseva is the author of the books: «The Soviet Opera», «State Symphony Orchestra of the USSR» and others.
